Vivncaus Mentoring Program is a “Big Sister Little Sister” mentoring service for young Hmong women and girls in Southeast Asia

Together, we strive to make a positive and long-lasting impact on Hmong women and girls to delay early marriages, promote education and build community beyond borders.

Mission Statement

To guide young women to cultivate self-confidence, sovereignty, and self-sufficiency by providing mentorship, personal leadership curriculum and scholarships to complete higher education and become positive role models for their communities.

Vision

We envision a world where women are financially independent and have personal freedom.

We believe that when a young woman is surrounded by a supportive community, being exposed to new possibilities, and has the resources to guide her, she gains the confidence to pursue her dreams; therefore, breaking the cycle of poverty and leading as a positive role model for the next generation.

Messages we want our younger sisters to walk away with

The thoughts we choose to feed our mind are the most powerful tools we have to live a happy and healthy life.

Those who believe in themselves and understand the influence of their power are happier, more confident, and successful.

Opportunities are endless for her and that she is capable of a life beyond the limits of her imagination if only she believes that she can.

Hmong Women Today creates opportunities for women to grow, lead and shine.

Since our launch in 2012, HWT has offered all of our events and services for free to the community (with the exception of the women retreat). We are not a nonprofit organization and we don’t have any grants or revenue. Nonetheless, HWT is able to fulfill its mission due to the support of families, friends and generous donors from our community.  For this spirit, we invite you to be a champion for Hmong women by making a donation to help sustain our programs and events. We welcome all donation levels and thank you, in advance, for your contribution.

Know that when you give to Hmong Women Today, you invest in the all-around success of women. And when women succeed, society succeeds!
